Day 63 of 100 of a increasingly intense challenge that combines my love for music and my desire that some day I will write yet again. The poem above is a collage of song titles that topped the charts throughout the year 2012 when I was reborn as a Jittery Monkey.

My goal is to create one “collage poem” every day for 100 consecutive days. Today’s challenge proved to be quite a trip down the memory lane as I was shuffling my way through rock charts of 2012 and of course I remembered every single tune that in some way marked events that took place during that year. LA Kings winning their first Stanley Cup. Bad breakup with a business partner. Crazy party hopping on Venice Beach. Night mountainbiking through Santa Monica mountains. Resurrections in Joshua Tree. Starting my own horror film company. Etc. it was a wild year. But then again so many were and still are…
