Presence

I walk aimlessly. Perpetually staring at my phone. To not miss not even a but of data of what goes on in the world. The world that is not really mine. Never was. Somehow I end up on the beach. Catch myself accidentally enjoying the view of the ocean. I am instantly blown away by a majestic sunset and a flock of birds playfully chasing each other in the sky. As the waves crash with all it’s might, the sun paints the sky in majestic yellow morphing into red that bleeds to purple. Salty ocean moisture gently rains on the golden beach. My gaze stops on you standing on the beach, soaking it all in and suddenly I catch myself feeling the magic you spread by just being. In love. I surprise myself enjoying the actual moment. Not the aftermath. Not the idea of it. Actual moment. Present. In the now. In love.

  1. Oh, Madmag! What’s more beautiful than looking up from that fake world that doesn’t belong to us and discovering that the real world is much more beautiful and true? Then love appears to us not as an image but as a reality.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful thought.🙏💖

    1. Thank you, dear Marcello! Coming from you it means a lot. There is so much to experience, feel, sense, hear, smell, taste, and see. Sometimes all we have to do is look up from the cursed screens… and of course when it comes to love, it can never truly be until it was felt through each sense we posses… 🙏❤️🙏
