she’s gone
love really hurts
without you

what can I say
this one’s for you
shout it out loud
love is alive

Day 28 of 100 of a self-imposed challenge will hopefully resurrect my desire to write once again. The poem above is a collage of song titles that rocked the charts throughout the year that gave us quite a few movie gems but perhaps the one that I was influenced the most by was Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver (honourable mentions: One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Omen, and Rocky) – 1976.
My obviously overambitious goal is to create one “collage poem” every day for 100 consecutive days. So far it’s been an engaging experience that is showing me how much fun “collage writing” is. Plus, somehow I am slowly inching closer to what I desire to do but somehow can’t get to doing (perhaps I am just massively lazy…).
