day 4 . at the edge

standing at the edge
nearing closer
looking down
the world shimmers
as the abyss calls for me
i resist the temptation
closing my eyes
one step beyond
not falling
eyes open
hovering
blinking
smashing high
towards the end of the sky
shiny stars winking at me
my spirit finally embraced
i enter forever
