BUTTERFLY
noun
A nectar-feeding insect with two pairs of large, typically brightly coloured wings that are covered with microscopic scales. Butterflies are distinguished from moths by having clubbed or dilated antennae, holding their wings erect when at rest, and being active by day.
While butterflies mostly live in the wild and open spaces, there is another kind that exclusively makes an appearance where no other kind of butterflies ever does nor it can. This special kind of butterflies lives exclusively inside your stomach. They are famous for making an appearance whenever you experience anxiety or nervousness.
It is still a mystery as to how these special kind of butterflies made their way into the stomach, there are a couple of theories that are gaining a lot of traction in the world of those who live outside of the box.
First theory is quite gruesome for it involves butterfly eating feasts that take place in between states of when you are feeling calm and then suddenly feeling anxiety. Apparently in that split second we enter a special kind of alternative realm where butterflies are considered a delicacy. This alternative place is accessible only for a moment or two and most of the time we tend to not even realise that we have entered this butterfly eating place. The moment we enter it we start feasting on unsuspecting and very much alive butterflies that we chomp on in such frenzy that most end up in our stomach alive and well. Of course our stomach prove to be a very harsh place for them to survive so eventually they all die and when they do we stop feeling them and eventually we “eliminate” their carcasses via the same exit we use for elimination of our body’s other waste.
The second theory is much less gruesome though sadly completely bonkers. This theory speaks of our body not existing at all. Instead we are just a temporal nightmares that butterflies have. Of course the nightmare is them being stuck in our stomachs, fighting desperately to get out. hence we feel their wings fluttering inside. Although in reality it’s just an idea od us that butterflies have that actually feel the wings. Bonkers, I know.
Also, butterflies are beautiful.
