I find moments like this the most soothing and reinvigorating. Lying on top of my SUP. Observing the shadows of the hills that surround me grow bigger as the sun slowly descends. Listening to the soft breeze, the slight crashing of the waves against the giant rocks that grow out of the sea forming steep cliffs on both sides of the channel. Breathing in the late summer air that is a mesmerizing mixture of wild herbs (rosemary among it for sure), oak trees and a distinct Adriatic sea fragrance. Enjoying the gentle rocking of my vessel. Hearing occasional song or a chirp from birds that fly above. Surrounded by nature and its breathtaking beauty… my heart, my soul, my be… they all scream: we are home!
