comeback

our dreams of comeback
were always so big and loud,
we soared up high past the missing
and the sorrow till we were covered
with nothing but hope,
we sung and danced all the way to
a place that grows from blood red soil,
once there we inhaled the salty breeze,
for we finally, after almost an eternity, returned to our immortally beloved paradise,
we jumped into the cool emerald blue sea, swam naked, and made blissful love,
now life is beautiful in ways like never before,
the best days of our lives are here and now, let’s live them till the end of time
