Day 40 of 100 of a complex challenge that combines my love for music and my desire to start writing once again. I’m also finding out that as I listen to music from the past while playing with the words quite a few skeletons fall out of my endless closets. Deep breath. Inhale. Exhale. Moving on. The poem above is a collage of song titles that topped the charts in 2005 when I fell in love with Joshua Tree national park.
My obviously overambitious goal is to create one “collage poem” every day for 100 consecutive days. So far so good…
