Day 23 of 100 completed! 77 more days to go to complete a self-imposed challenge in hopes that it brings me back to writing. The poem above is a collage of song titles that ruled the charts throughout the year 1981 – when fucking wicked awesome movie The Evil Dead was released (yes, I’m a flamboyant fan of it!).
My terribly overambitious goal is to create one “collage poem” every day for 100 consecutive days. So far it’s been a delightful experience that as an added bonus is showing me how much fun I can have by “force writing.” Somehow I “feel” that while I’m far from reaching my goal I actually am slowly inching closer. Fingers crossed!
