Day 18 of 100 of a challenge that will hopefully bring me back to writing. The poem above is a collage of song titles that ruled the charts throughout the year when I dreamed of becoming Michael Jackson – 1987.
My absolutely overambitious goal is to create one “collage poem” every day for 100 consecutive days. So far it’s been a fun experience that has given my an excuse to explore music of the past as well as “forcing” me to “write.” Somehow I “feel” that while I’m far from reaching my goal I actually am getting closer. Fingers crossed!
