hanging off of the trees
the kids dancing and jumping
cheerfully underneath

swirling in the winter sky
the winds sing and whistle
merrily near and far

swinging off of the trees
half all sparkly and shining
half all dull and rotting
.
ornaments and humans
swaying happily up in the air
the unlikely of companions
together long dead and gone
