living in a bubble
waiting on a war
blown away

save your tears
what you say
like I used to
drift away

Day 98 of 100 of a mesmerising challenge that combines my love for music and my desire that some day I will write yet again. The poem above is a collage of song titles that have so far topped the charts this year. 2021 has turned out to be a particularly challenging year due to corona virus staying power that has consequentially further skewed and blurred the line between sanity and insanity…

My goal is to create one “collage poem” every day for 100 consecutive days. 2 more to go…

Extinction, 2021

    1. Thank you, dearest friend. It’s been a rough year. In many ways rougher than last year when all was chaos due to a certain thankful now already former president mixed with the birth and rise of covid19. It saddens me to see so many friends losing common sense and/or deciding to make a stand for personal freedom at the expense of endangering health and life of those that choose to accept certain inconveniences in the name of getting through this pandemic as healthy as possible. Sigh. I’m tired and in need of a getaway from it all. Hopefully a tiny house tucked in solitude away from other settlements on an island in south Adriatic sea will provide it. I honestly want to do nothing but read, swim, sup, grill fresh seafood, and enjoy a variety of whiskeys I collected over the year with the intent to enjoy them while enjoying a sunset lying in a hammock… ❤️
